Balance Community Funding

One recurring source of municipal frustration is the perception that one community receives more investment than another.  The politics of infrastructure allocation needs to be removed and a municipal infrastructure priority score system developed.  Determining what residents want should be determined through a municipality-wide needs assessment. The belief that one community pays very high taxes while others receive considerably more in community investment when compared to the taxes paid needs to be balanced.

My goal is to remove as much politics as possible from infrastructure allocation and develop a Municipal Infrastructure Priority Score such as:

Every major road or drainage project would be scored. Council will still need to exercise judgment, but deviations from the ranking should be publicly explained to residents.
