Plan for Roads, Drainage & Flood Protection
The RM currently identifies roads and drainage as strategic priorities and is already implementing an expanded 10-year hard-surface road plan. A new council will undertake commissioning a municipality-wide 100 day Road & Drainage Condition Assessment.
We will put every road ditch culvert and significant drainage structure into a GIS based asset management system, with software to map, track and maintain our municipal infrastructure based on priority.
The implemented action timeline will be based on 1. immediate safety/Structural concern. 2. Repair 3. Rehabilitation 4. Routine maintenance.
